GCE Chemistry
Multiple choice Paper 1, theory Paper 2 and a practical test Paper 3, from atomic structure and the mole to metals and organic chemistry.
The papers
Paper 1
Multiple choice
Forty multiple choice questions with four options each, covering the whole syllabus. One mark each, no penalty for a wrong answer.
Paper 2
Theory
Section A has compulsory structured questions and Section B gives a choice of longer free response questions. Clear working, units and labelled diagrams earn marks.
Paper 3
Practical test
A laboratory paper with real apparatus or specimens: taking and recording readings, drawing tables and graphs, observing and drawing, and drawing conclusions. Practise it here through written practical style questions.
