GCE Geography
Geography 2218 combines map skills, physical and world human geography with written studies of Zambia, the sub-region, settlements and population.
The papers
Paper 1
Map work and objective geography
Fifty four-option questions in 1 hour 30 minutes cover map work and basic techniques, physical geography and world human geography. Each correct response earns one mark. This bank also includes written skill-building follow-ups for Paper 1 topics; these are not additional sections of the examination.
Paper 2
Zambia, the sub-region and population
The readable written papers allow 2 hours for four questions, normally worth 12 marks each. Choose one from Zambia, one from the sub-region and one from settlements and population studies, then one further question from any section; follow the instructions on the actual paper.
