The papers
Paper 1
Short answer questions
About 25 to 30 short questions answered on the paper. Every question must be answered, working must be shown and calculators are not allowed on some sittings, so check the front page.
Paper 2
Structured questions
Section A has compulsory longer questions and Section B gives a choice of longer questions. Answers need full working, graphs and constructions where asked. A formula list is printed on the paper.
